Kim Amjadi, MD, FAAP

General Pediatrics located in Tempe, AZ

 

Dr. Kim Amjadi, MD has been a resident of Arizona for over 40 years and has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. Her love for children and their families grows larger year by year. She attended Arizona State University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology as well as a Masters degree in the Natural Sciences. She later attended the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine in Tucson and earned her doctor of medicine degree in 1993. She then moved back to Phoenix to be near her family and completed her pediatric residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She has practiced for many years in the West Valley area and her knowledge and passion for pediatrics has grown through her many years of service to the community. She is an adjunct faculty at both the Phoenix Children’s Hospital as well as the University Of Arizona College Of Medicine mentoring future physicians. She has also authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals.

Dr. Amjadi has been very active with numerous philanthropy projects both locally and globally ranging from feeding the homeless and helping fellow healthcare workers combat burnout and mental health issues during the pandemic, to aiding orphanages in the neighboring countries. In addition, she is the president of Arizona State University Alumni Association, IAA Chapter, and through their various programs, she’s helped numerous students achieve their dreams and goals of having a successful future by raising funds for scholarships, as well as job resourcing and mentoring. Her favorite activities and hobbies include hiking, painting, writing, poetry, swimming, tennis, yoga, meditation, and dancing.
